Holiday Time

Wednesday, July 18th, 2007

The last weeks I’ve been doing a multiple of things. Wich inculde programming, gaming and relaxing. But now it is time for me to go on a holiday. I’ll be off till the end of July. As a true programmer and game freak I’ll be attending Campzone 2007, the biggest outdoor LAN-Party in the Benelux :).

The RPG is coming along nicely, it is now time to create a story and artwork for it. After that it’s a matter of bughunting :). So lets hope I can get it done this summer.

Ideas keep spawning…

Saturday, July 7th, 2007

So while I’m working on my project and thinking about almost finishing it more ideas seem to pop up. I really see now that an RPG is a versataille gametype that delivers countless possibilities. But of course there must be some point where one should say, OKAY enough!

A lot of brainstorming will be done arround a story soon and perhaps I can post a screenshot in the near future.

But enough about that, I’ve been playing a lot of Quake Wars lately and I must say that the game is pretty okay. But I’ve got the feeling that it’s only fun to play with friends. Because there seems to be no I involved in this game, it is all based arround teamplay. So I suggest you put up your friendly hat if you are planning to buy this game. And perhaps poke some of your friends to buy it too.

4 days till Nintendo Press Conference, keep smiling!

Summer Holidays hurray!

Monday, July 2nd, 2007

It’s this time of the year again!!! Finally no more assigments and no more exams. Time to relax and chill with friends.

Ofcourse it is also this time of the year for the E3. I’m especially looking forward to hear more about Unreal Tournament 3 and ofcourse watching the Nintendo E3 press conference live. I just love how the press goes wild when they first saw Mario Galaxy during that same press event last year. It gets me all psyched up :-).

Thanks to all this spare time I have now I can start writing more code for my new game :-). So I hope to show you some of that stuff in the near future.

Keep your head cool!
